Interparfums FY 2022: record earnings as operating profit soars 33 percent

THE WHAT? Interparfums has reported its results for the 2022 fiscal year. The fragrance giant recorded record earnings for the full year with net income up 40 percent on 2021’s figures and sales rising 26 percent to €706.6 million. THE DETAILS The company noted that it had extended its partnership with Montblanc until December 31, 2030 and, subject to the General Meeting’s ratification, hit its goal of achieving gender parity on its board. THE WHY? Philippe Benacin, Chairman and CEO, commented, “Against the backdrop of a turbulent economic and geopolitical environment, our sales and earnings continued to grow in 2022. Makeup and Beauty Blog Monday Poll, Vol. 668

So…what is the Monday Poll?

Excellent question! It isn’t, contrary to its name, an actual poll, like with little clicky buttons. It’s just a list of five more or less random questions I’ve been posting on this blog every Monday morning for the past quadrillion years (since 2007). I love reading your answers, and it helps me get my week off to a good start. 🌻

    1. Mango or pineapple?

    Oh! — pineapple please, ideally of the fresh variety, perhaps at the breakfast buffet at Duke’s in Hawaii, although I won’t say no to canned. 🍍

    2. What’s the farthest you’ve ever run?

    That would be 13.1 miles in the Nike Women’s Half Marathon, and for the record…I don’t ever need to run that far again, LOL!

    3. Your thoughts on shadow/liner on the lower lash line?

    If it rocks your socks off, go for it! I do it every once in a blue moon now but not as often as I used to, partly due to makeup laziness, and partly due to my belief that I’m just better off now when I wear less in that general area.
