THE WHAT? Interparfums has reported its results for the 2022 fiscal year. The fragrance giant recorded record earnings for the full year with net income up 40 percent on 2021’s figures and sales rising 26 percent to €706.6 million. THE DETAILS The company noted that it had extended its partnership with Montblanc until December 31, 2030 and, subject to the General Meeting’s ratification, hit its goal of achieving gender parity on its board. THE WHY? Philippe Benacin, Chairman and CEO, commented, “Against the backdrop of a turbulent economic and geopolitical environment, our sales and earnings continued to grow in 2022. Zara runs through the steps in each of the infusion methods PLUS stops along the way to explain why aloe vera is such a holy grail kind of natural haircare ingredient. For instance, she zeroes in on a few of the more than 70 potentially active constituents in aloe vera.
One of those is a complex carbohydrate called acemannan which easily penetrates the skin and allows nutrients to reach the skin and nourish them. At the same time, acemannan helps to remove toxins.

Aloe Oil Recipe 1
Involves blending chopped-up aloe vera and then boiling it in oil to begin the infusion. The mixture is strained and stored for use.
Aloe Oil Recipe 2
Small pieces of chopped-up aloe vera are soaked in almond oil and the mixture is stored for 1 to 2 months to allow infusion.
Aloe Oil Recipe 3
Similar to the second recipe but with the use of even smaller pieces of aloe vera and a hot water bath to speed infusion.
Aloe Oil Recipe 4
This method uses only the aloe vera gel which has to be cut away from the bark. The gel and almond oil are stored to allow infusion.
