Interparfums FY 2022: record earnings as operating profit soars 33 percent

THE WHAT? Interparfums has reported its results for the 2022 fiscal year. The fragrance giant recorded record earnings for the full year with net income up 40 percent on 2021’s figures and sales rising 26 percent to €706.6 million. THE DETAILS The company noted that it had extended its partnership with Montblanc until December 31, 2030 and, subject to the General Meeting’s ratification, hit its goal of achieving gender parity on its board. THE WHY? Philippe Benacin, Chairman and CEO, commented, “Against the backdrop of a turbulent economic and geopolitical environment, our sales and earnings continued to grow in 2022. Cue the lights! Ready the red carpet! It’s the Cat Academy Awards!

Biggest night of the year on ye olde social calendar. As you know, Tabs was an award-winning cat actor, among his many other talents. He starred in dozens of blockbusters and successful arthouse films, winning five Cat Academy Awards and eight Golden Kitty Globes, among many other accolades, over the course of his illustrious career.

If he were still here, no doubt he would have been walking the red carpet in Hollywood tonight.

He used to say that it was enough just to be nominated, but I tell you what, he was furrociously competitive. No matter how calm and cool he seemed, he still wanted to win.

He worked hard on his craft. He considered himself a cat method actor.

Sometimes he would remain in character for weeks and months after filming a movie.
