Interparfums FY 2022: record earnings as operating profit soars 33 percent

THE WHAT? Interparfums has reported its results for the 2022 fiscal year. The fragrance giant recorded record earnings for the full year with net income up 40 percent on 2021’s figures and sales rising 26 percent to €706.6 million. THE DETAILS The company noted that it had extended its partnership with Montblanc until December 31, 2030 and, subject to the General Meeting’s ratification, hit its goal of achieving gender parity on its board. THE WHY? Philippe Benacin, Chairman and CEO, commented, “Against the backdrop of a turbulent economic and geopolitical environment, our sales and earnings continued to grow in 2022. In 2023, although many uncertainties still exist, this positive momentum should continue with sales expected to reach €750 million, driven by the continuing appeal of our brands for consumers in a global perfume market that remains buoyant.” The post Interparfums FY 2022: record earnings as operating profit soars 33 percent appeared first on Global Cosme

A few weekends back I was at the beach supporting my 10-year-old baby (!!!) in the socially-distant beach cleanup she organized with Keep Pinellas Beautiful!

She goes sooo incredibly hard. Last school year, she obtained 30 signatures from students and teachers for her Save The Ocean Club she planned to launch for the 2020-2021 school year. She’d bring gloves (mine… the ones I used for henna’ing my hair! My fingers stayed orange) and other clean-up equipment every day, so that she and her dedicated team of 9 could pick up trash during gym hours.

Due to Covid, she’s attending 5th grade virtually, but that didn’t stop her from organizing. She designed, wrote the copy for, and launched her own website to bring awareness to keeping our oceans clean. She’s presently building out her team– accepting resumes and conducting interviews! Setting up her zoom calls with her classmates and their parents, and getting her press (she had her first news interviews last week!), has become a whole part-time job!

I don’t have words to fully express the Love I feel watching her passions blossom. I just do my best to prepare the soil— to make the conditions right for her to grow into what and who she already is… what she came here to be. That, and Faith!  #TheSeedIsTheOak

With you in and AS the Flowering,
Nik

p.s. Meanwhile my Max (4-years-old next week!) watches us work on her campaign, and regularly demands to start his own project to save the Sun.
