Babo Botanicals Sunscreen has been a long time favorite of my family’s. They offer so many different products that fit the needs of many. So, I am breaking it down and sharing the details on the products we use from Babo Botanicals!

Thankfully, vacations are no longer marred by sunburns or white pasty pics since coming across Babo Botanicals Sunscreen. It blends into the skin and most importantly, protects the skin from the sun.
I love that Babo Botanicals was founded by a mom, who wanted plant-based products for her family. Although the focus of this post is on their line of sunscreen, they do carry a variety of personal care products.

Babo Botanical products contain an exclusive Nutri-Soothe
Complex rich in vitamins and antioxidants. It’s a blend of 4 powerful organic botanicals: Calendula, Chamomile, Watercress and Meadowsweet. In order to preserve the potency of the botanical extract they soak the botanicals at precise concentrations in plant-based glycerin to diffuse their benefits (in their waterless products, sunflower oil is used instead of glycerin).

All of Babo Botanical products are fragrance-free, however, I did read some customer reviews that stated they noticed a faint scent from the zinc oxide. I didn’t notice a scent but I wanted to give a fair warning to anyone who may be extra sensitive or not expecting any kind of scent at all.
Does it leave a white cast?
You can go ahead and capture those sunny memories, because this sunscreen does not leave a white cast! It’s hydrating without being greasy and blends in quickly.

I have tried A LOT of zinc sunscreens and this one is by far my favorite. It really does go on sheer, with no chalky/ghostly haze on your skin. It’s not greasy. A little bit goes a long way. And it works great. I also love that it’s only zinc (none of the sunscreen chemicals that are bad). It even does great on my face (doesn’t cause breakouts). I don’t use any other sunscreen now that I have found this amazing product.
As a farmer and biker, I wear sunscreen everyday. I’ve searched for one that is safe, effective and doesn’t give a white glow. This is it!!
This sunscreen doesn’t leave a white film like other zinc based sunscreens. You can wear it all day in the sun and it doesn’t form a film even with lots of sweating. It rubs in easily too. And it’s safe to use on my baby! I love this sunscreen.
My Review
One of the reasons why I love the Babo Botanicals Clear Zinc Sunscreen is that it is safe for the whole family. Beyond providing a sunscreen that checks all of the boxes on EWG and works without leaving a white residue, it’s also convenient to purchase.
Besides the Babo Botanical’s site, the sunscreen can be found online at both Target and Walmart. I know most people aren’t in the trenches of clean beauty like I am and the last thing they want to do is keep track of multiple sites for ordering their personal care products.
I also appreciate that they use a non-nano zinc oxide in the Clear Zinc Sunscreen. Plus, it offers UVB and UVA protection. It’s also water resistant for up to 80 minutes.

I wouldn’t say it’s absolutely sheer. It’s pretty close but I can still see a faintish white hue to it. It usually depends on how much you rub it in. But pretty good overall!

This is a healthy alternative to other sunscreens. I burn easily… as in I step into sunlight and 20 minutes later am sunburned. Also, having extremely sensitive skin I had no reaction to this spray on mineral sunscreen. It goes on easily and with one swipe over wear applied it’s done. My grandchildren used this throughout the summer hiking and swimming without burning. AAA+++ we are so happy to have found this sunscreen!
I have had melanoma and cancer and pre cancer removed. I have tried every sunscreen on the market. Living in Florida I do not go outside without this all over me. It was important to not wear a heavy or thick sunscreen or one that needed reapplied often. This is perfect. I spray it and rub it around my limbs, ears, neck, chest and tops of feet after my morning shower. I had never heard of this sunblock, not can you find it over the counter where I live in Florida. I ordered it online and love this product. It is so light, easy to apply, and has no smell. I have sensitive fair skin (redhead). This does not cause any rash. It is absolutely the best sunscreen for me.
After my thyroid cancer diagnosis I’ve gotten rid of several chemical laden household products, which sometimes feels like that’s 95% of all products on the market. I found this using the “Think Dirty” app and was really happy to find it here in Amazon. I love this sunscreen. Feels clean, works great, and I’ve even used it on my 3yo granddaughter. We sprayed it on her face with her eyes closed w/o any burning or stinging.
It’s a little pricey but feel it’s worth the extra few dollars knowing it’s very clean, smells good, and works great! Happy new customer for as long as they keep it stocked!
My Review
This sunscreen is great for the whole family! Parents will love this sunscreen as it’s easy to quickly use on any kiddo with the spray function. It’s fragrance free, uses 100% zinc oxide and is water and sweat resistant for 80 minutes. It checks all the boxes! It also uses non-nano zinc and is soy, dairy and gluten free.
I love knowing I can use it on my baby, all the way up to my hubs. An easy, clean sunscreen to always have in your bag! It rubs in nicely and doesn’t feel heavy at all. One thing I will mention is that you need to shake it very well before using so you get an even application – this is even mentioned on the bottle.

Similar to what I said earlier, I don’t think it leaves a white cast but I wouldn’t say they are 100% sheer. I find that once I initially rub the lotion in you can see a subtle hue but then as it dries it’s almost undetectable.

We have been using this on my baby and she hasn’t burnt yet! I am a crazy, stay out of the sun mom, so It is great to have a reliable sunscreen when that isn’t an option! I will say, it’s a bit pricey for the size of bottle you get. I was expecting a full size bottle when I ordered it (my fault for not looking at volume). So it’s pricey!
I have two littles one of them never burns lol but the other is 7 months old and fair skinned so I needed a safe to use sunscreen for her that would help keep her protected I am very happy with this sunscreen
I have tried ALL kinds of baby sunscreen, sensitive skin baby sunscreen for my 1 year old. I have been on a dedicated search for the best product for him. FINALLY my search is over!!! After countless tries with various baby sunscreens this stuff is the ONLY sunscreen that won’t break my baby out. He will break out in tiny bumps anywhere sunscreen touches, my face is the same way. Babo baby sunscreen does not have that effect!!! I will forever only chose this product for my babies skin, I’m absolutely SO impressed with the quality. I’ve read in reviews that it is very very thick and hard to spread.. It’s not. It’s actually really easy to spread and melts into the skin very nicely, my son isn’t a oily mess as a lot of sunscreen tend to do. This stuff is amazing, give it a shot!!!
My Review
This is my go to for a baby sunscreen and the one I’m constantly recommending when people ask me for a natural baby sunscreen option. It works so well and I love the higher SPF rating on it. It doesn’t feel greasy and does rub in mostly clear. I like how it’s fragrance free too. Perfect for sensitive baby skin. I used this in Florida on my 2 month old, but also on my kids and myself and it worked so well! Some mineral based sunscreens I find don’t protect as well at the beach with the blaring sun, but this worked so well!
